The first deputy prime minister and minister for East Africa community affairs also woman member of Parliament Kamuli District alitwala Rebecca kadaga appealed to basoga to accept the available university structures before the construction of sky scrappers. 

‎Many busoga leaders are undermining the status of the busoga university yearning for more even before it starts, knowledge is not in better structures it’s all about determination , even before the government takes the university there was no better builds people are demanding before it commences and many are successful from such building, Kadaga said these at Top care secondary school in Iganga municipality as chief guest on fundraising ceremony of a main hall.

‎On the same occasion she revealed to busoga region about new setting up of the second skilling hub in bugiri district which will enhance  skill full students that having only one skilling hub of Nakabango skilling hub which Carter for six students  from  each district and municipality.

‎”embrace all government programs like emyooga, parish development modal, youth lively hood and others to fight poverty in country as one of the pillars of national resistance movement” she added

‎On the issue of transport, Rt. Hon. Kadaga also revealed that government is aggressively pushing for the construction of the long-awaited Jinja-Kampala Expressway. She said the expressway is a strategic project that will not only reduce the current traffic jam on the busy highway but also boost trade, industrialization and integration within the East African Community.

‎She noted that the current Jinja-Kampala road has become a bottleneck for business and that an expressway will ease movement of goods and people, and make Busoga more attractive to investors.

‎The event attracted parents, old boys and girls, education leaders, political leaders and well-wishers from across Busoga. The school is steadily growing as one of the promising private secondary schools in Iganga.

‎‎Rt. Hon. Alitwala Rebecca Kadaga contributed 5 million shillings towards the school’s development projects. She commended the school directors and teachers for the sacrifice and commitment towards raising disciplined and educated children for the future of Busoga and Uganda at large.

‎The elected member of Parliament Busiki constituency in Namutumba Azalwa Joel argued parents to educate their children in all levels and if possible to each level train them a certain vocational course at the end of four year he or she will be some one different comparing to others. 

‎Vocational skills like cake baking,brick laying, driving and motor vehicle  mechanic will reduce on the number of children who always go abroad for” cheyo” where they will be able to form their own jobs and to others . 

‎Meanwhile the head teacher Top care secondary school Kibwika Richard revealed the challenges the school faces like lack of equipment for vocational course because they practice vocational training every weekend as it states in the new curriculum. 

‎Before covid 19 saga the school had over 1000 students because it was patterning with the government in the universal secondary education but the contract was cancelled and the school population reduced to 200 students which have affected the development of the school , Kibwika said.
